“Whether we were treating injuries at the Garbage Dump, sitting with a sick mom, or attempting to speak broken Burmese, we tried to give ourselves completely to whatever was laid before us to do that day. We divided our time between the Safehouse, the Baby House, the Garbage Dump, being with the street kids, and doing schoolwork with our kids. (Among other things! Like we said, our time there was full- in every way.)

This brings us to our upcoming plans. God is leading us to Thailand for longer term. We as a family, love Thailand, so it’s exciting for us! We’ve been praying about this move for the past 2 years, waiting for the right timing. After being there with our family for 3 months & growing deeper in love with the people of Mae Sot, we‘ve decided that the time is now!”
